I swear, this Alicia Keys-Mashonda Dean-Jahna Sebastian-Swizz Beatz is the biggest, most dramatic, clusterf-ck gossip story of the year, and it pains me that it’s not getting more play. Is it all about race? If Alicia Keys was white, do you think there would be Us Weekly covers asking in ALL CAPS BOLD why she and her relationship are so damaged? I do. Anyway, Bossip has a new story that is really, really rough - Swizz Beatz’s ex-wife mashonda has given yet another interview, this time to Sister 2 Sister Magazine. Before I get to the interview, I’d like to recap the events thus far:

*Mashonda called Alicia and Swizz out for their affair last year in a open letter - Alicia and Swizz’s affair began when Swizz and Mashonda were married and when their youngest child was only months old.
*Alicia has never publicly spoken about homewrecking Swizz and Mashonda’s marriage, and on the rare occasion when she was asked about it, she name-dropped Oprah and acted like she was too good to discuss it.
*Swizz has yet another baby-mama in England named Jahna Sebastian, whom he has yet to pay child support on or even acknowledge their daughter.
*Beyond the fact that Swizz has impregnated his third woman in, like, four years time, his baby-mama drama isn’t even the least of his worries - he also owes millions in back-taxes.
*Now that Alicia and Swizz had their shotgun wedding, everything will continue to be whitewashed, with happy-happy quotes being pushed in People Magazine and other major publications, with Swizz talking about “spreading his love” and such.

Okay, now on to Mashonda’s interview. This is… God, I just feel for Mashonda. It’s one of those situations where I totally understand why the ex is still talking about the situation and the new girl, because the new girl is consistently f-cking with the ex’s business. I just come away from this thinking that Alicia is ten different kinds of WRONG. This whole thing comes courtesy of Bossip:

Honestly, I don’t have strong feelings about Jesse James and Kat Von D as a new couple. It seems pretty clear that despite my suspicions, Sandra Bullock did toss JJ out with the trash, and JJ was and is looking for new girls to occupy his time. He and Sandra are divorced, and she’s been a class act about the whole thing, so I feel like they both have the right to move on - Sandra should and will move on to career highs in Hollywood, and Jesse will continue to bone whatever sketchy chick will have him, until he fades into obscurity. That being said, I enjoy the schadenfreude. Because Jesse looks absolutely miserable with his new “girlfriend” Kat Von D. Poor Kat thinks she’s hooked a prize - and she’s clearly calling the paparazzi so that there are tons of photos of her and her new “boyfriend”. Last week they walked their first red carpet together, and over the weekend, they SHOCKINGLY got pap’d walking down the street and then eating tacos (cough).

Two out of the four tabloids I turned my brain to happy mush reading this morning have a variation of the “Sandra betrayed!” story chronicling Jesse James and Kat Von D’s well-documented outing to a town called Fredricksburg outside Austin last weekend. They had photos of the two kissing goodbye at the airport, walking hand in hand down the street, and even riding on Jesse’s motorcycle together. It almost looked like they called the paps to tip them off. Here’s a roundup:

My lord, Freida Pinto is gorgeous. This is such a simple photo too - just a basic head shot of a beautiful woman, and she’s captivating. Anyway… Freida is the cover girl for the NYT Style Magazine’s Fall issue. Other than the cover shot, the photos online are kind of meh, so I hope the print magazine had a full editorial. Frieda also gave a little interview - and she talks in greater detail about that “scandal” from last year, where the tabloids claimed that she was secretly married, and that she had abandoned her husband for Hollywood. Long story short, most sources now agree that Freida was NOT secretly married to the dude, but she was engaged to him, and she did dump him rather spectacularly for Hollywood and a romance with Dev Patel. Freida tells the magazine: “I feel what I did was right. There were no two ways about it… Everyone is going to write you off for one thing or another, but you know what? It’s my life, and if I didn’t go through it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today, sitting here talking about what happened back then and being a little more knowledgeable about what happens in relationships.” Hmm…

Freida Pinto is not one to shy away from a grand gesture. “As my friends and family are quick to remind me, I have always been a big drama queen,” Pinto, 26, recalls over breakfast in a Midtown hotel suite. “As a child, I would stand in front of the mirror and pretend I was this or that person from television. All I needed to do was realize it and recognize what I wanted to do.”

It’s gotten to the point where if Sandra Bullock farts on the record, People Magazine gives her a cover. Such it is this week. Sandra gave an “exclusive” statement to People regarding Jesse James’ move to Austin. Basically, she’s fine with it and she’s moving on and Jesse is moving on… but then why is he moving to Austin if everybody is moving on?

I remember reading a few weeks ago that Jesse James struck out with L.A. Ink’s Kat Von D. I’m trying to find a link to verify that, but I think I read it in a sidebar on a gossip magazine and I’d be hard-pressed to find it again. Nonetheless, I thought at the time how Kat was much more James’ speed than the Oscar winning ex wife he cheated on regularly. Fast forward and People is now reporting that James and Kat were seen on a cozy date in Vegas. Is this how Sandra’s people are making sure we know she hasn’t taken the scumbag back? If so, good for her.

The motorcycle mogul, whose divorce from Sandra Bullock was finalized in June, was spotted having dinner with fellow tattoo enthusiast and LA Ink star Kat Von D in Las Vegas Saturday night.

Settling into a table at Palms Casino Resort’s N9NE, the duo didn’t bother spreading out in the oversized booth, but got cozy by sitting right next to each other.

The two shared the restaurant’s signature rock shrimp and classic Caesar salad. They also both enjoyed the filet with a side of asparagus, and drank Fiji water with dinner.

Toward the end of the meal, the duo were spotted holding hands.

They continued holding hands as they left dinner and headed to a black Mercedes that James was driving.

A rep for James had no comment. Calls to Kat Von D’s rep were not returned.

I was in the US for a while recently, and I loved getting a stack of fresh tabloids at the grocery store every Thursday. It wasn’t until weeks had passed that I realized I didn’t buy OK! Magazine once. (Let me give a shout out to Stacie, who has scanned the tabloids for us for years. I am so grateful to her for helping us get them fast and for providing an online archive of past issues.) Anyway we’ve never had Stacie scan OK! that I can remember, and since the magazine changed hands last year it’s really changed. Star Magazine is now more reliable and breaks more stories than OK!, which used to position itself as a kind of budget People but is now less interesting than Life & Style. (They jumped the shark with that photo of Michael Jackson dead on the cover and have never quite recovered.)

The latest cover of OK! looks like yet another blatant attempt to move copies with fake news. We’ve had all sorts of phantom pregnancies, engagements, marriages and now a faux-reunion from OK! They claim Jennifer Aniston is “Stealing Brad Back!” on what would be their 10th wedding anniversary. The vague intro article on their site has Aniston calling Brad, meeting up with him and sending him gifts, but it’s unclear whether she plans to do this or has actually already done it, according to whatever throwaway text they add to this very familiar and fake-sounding scenario.

On what would have been her 10th wedding anniversary with Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, gorgeous and glowing in a little black dress, bantered with Jay Leno before millions of Tonight Show viewers. “It was an emotional day for her,” a source tells OK! about the July 29 anniversary. “She put on a brave front.”
And a sexy one: At 41, Jen looks better than ever — and it’s no accident. Insiders say Jennifer is looking to get even closer to Brad with late-night phone calls, gifts and private meetings.
