We’ve heard that Elin Woods visited her husband Tiger in sex rehab as part of some kind of confessional therapy in which patients are encouraged to divulge all the disturbing details of their infidelity. We’ve also heard that Elin, who has not been wearing her wedding ring, is not quite ready to give up the ghost on her five year marriage despite all the evidence that her husband has been catting around with more than a dozen women, some paid professionals. Now there’s news that Elin is open to some kind of reconnection getaway with Tiger on his luxury yacht. Adding some credence to this story is the fact that Tiger’s yacht, the ironically named Privacy, was just spotted being loaded up with supplies. He’s possibly loaning it to friends and that might mean anything. I’m just hoping this story isn’t true:

Tiger Woods’ campaign to save his marriage is taking a new turn — out to sea. According to a good source — close to Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren Woods — the fidelity-challenged golf superstar has pitched his wife, Elin, on the idea of joining him on a cruise of the Caribbean on his mega-yacht, Privacy.

This would all reportedly take place immediately after Woods is released from his treatment for sexual addiction at the Pine Grove facility in Hattiesburg, Miss.

The only passengers on the ‘’second honeymoon” cruise would be the couple and the yacht’s eight-person crew. ”Tiger believes this will be the best way for he and Elin to really reconnect, attempt to save their marriage and get on with their lives,” the source said.

Elin Woods reportedly is leaning toward going.

I know that it is up to each couple how they handle infidelity and if they want to work to save their marriage. It’s also technically none of our business if the injured party is willing to forgive and move forward with the relationship. It’s our job to get up in other people’s business, though, so I will say that if Elin was my friend I would tell her to stop seeing Tiger except when accompanied by a lawyer or a mediator. The guy humiliated her publicly and didn’t stop until he got caught. We don’t even know if he did stop seeing other women after he was found out. Every woman deserves better and in my opinion it’s better to be single than be stuck with a cheater, especially a serial one like Tiger. It’s up to Elin, though of course.
